Hello there! I’m an acrylic painter living in Denver, Colorado. I typically paint abstract landscapes, animal portraits, and some human portraits. Currently I’m obsessed with wind turbines — their size and motion disrupt the landscape in a mesmerizing way that is breathtaking.

While I trained in my BFA program using oils I have recently made the switch to acrylics. This has been a challenge and a learning experience. Not every painting is a master piece (frankly, very few are) and only by working through artistic challenges can you grow in your creativity. This is why I will post my failed works as well. Making art is a journey - it is messy and never perfect.

If you are interested in commission work, please reach out. I take a couple commissions a month, depending on size and complexity. And yes, I will totally paint your dog! Who wouldn’t love painting all those cute doggies?!
